Faculty Led Group Program

Rigorous Experiences Grounded in Ethical Global Engagement

A Global Learning Approach

VN’s Faculty-Led Group Programs offer university faculty a structured and ethically grounded model for short-term study abroad and experiential learning. With over 15 years of experience coordinating academic programs, VN has partnered with faculty across multiple disciplines, including social work, public health, physical therapy, business, nursing, sociology, and related fields.

Programs are developed collaboratively to ensure alignment with course objectives, credit requirements, and institutional learning outcomes. Students participate in supervised, community-based learning activities that are intentionally integrated into academic instruction through assigned readings, critical reflection, and guided discussion.

VN emphasizes reciprocal partnership, cultural humility, and responsible engagement. Community interaction is designed to strengthen academic rigor while contributing meaningfully to ongoing local initiatives, ensuring that learning is both impactful and ethically grounded.

Health and safety are central components of program design. VN provides comprehensive pre-departure preparation, on-site coordination, secure lodging, reliable transportation, and clearly defined emergency protocols in collaboration with trusted local institutions and professionals.

Faculty receive full logistical and on-the-ground support, allowing them to focus on teaching, mentoring, and academic oversight while ensuring student well-being. This model enables faculty to lead immersive, academically rigorous programs that meet institutional study abroad approval standards while offering students transformative, place-based learning experiences.
